This beautiful Steve Ferguson ballad was
also recorded (sans bridge) by Jennifer Warnes. Our version was recorded in 1977
during the "Passage" sessions. It was a "flip of a coin" that decided whether
"You're The One" or "I Just Fall In Love Again" made that album. This song is
also featured in "The Karen Carpenter Story". I feel "You're The One" is one of
Karen's finest performances.
