YOUR
BABY DOESN’T LOVE YOU ANYMORE
Music and Lyrics by Larry Weiss
Originally recorded by Ruby and the
Romantics in 1965, this song caught my ear when submitted to us in 1980 because,
well, it sounded like something from the sixties! Written by Larry Weiss
(“Rhinestone Cowboy”), "Your Baby…" reminds me of "Hurting Each Other," which in
turn recalls some of the strong Teddy Randazzo productions of the sixties such
as "Hurt So Bad." Our rhythm track was recorded in 1980, along with
Karen's work lead. It was then shelved, along with quite a few others as
we had ultimately recorded more than enough for our Made In America
album, released June 9, 1981. Additional recording and mix were done in
1983 for inclusion in Voice Of The Heart.
